Upgrade Process

We are very excited to launch version 2 of IronTree Backup.

This new platform will bring a whole host of new functionalities and added features.

Reduced Complexity

 With IronTree Version 2 you will streamline your data protection efforts. There is just one solution and dashboard for all your backup requirements. Our Backup Cloud supports Windows and Linux servers and VMs, eight major hypervisors, PCs, Macs, iOS and Android mobile devices, Microsoft on-premises apps, SQL, Oracle Database, Office 365 and G Suite.

Uncomplicated setup and maintenance

IronTree Backup Cloud is a turnkey, all-in-one cloud backup solution with almost no requirements or special prerequisites for customers. Only a lightweight backup agent is needed for installation so you can forget about implementation hassles.

File recovery in seconds wherever and whenever needed

The solution’s web-based, touch-friendly console enables you to access backups and restore files wherever and whenever you need to. You won’t need to contact your IT professional to execute basic tasks.

System recovery to any environment or hardware

You’ll be able to migrate or recover Windows and Linux systems swiftly to the same, similar, or dissimilar hardware, including bare-metal, physical, virtual or cloud environments using built-in Universal Restore technology.

The migration process will work as follow:

You give us the go ahead to reach out to your base of clients.

We send them a first-off email explaining the reason for contact.

We reach out to them via telephone and they are prompted to begin the process by confirming a time and date for a technician to do the upgrade with them.

You are informed of successful migrations as and when they happen.
