Customer Service and Sales Consultant

Report to: Operations Manager

Division: Cape Town

Overall job objective: Telephonic sales and customer service, including query resolution


Key selection criteria

  • Strong sales experience with ability to influence effectively
  • Ability to work to strict sales targets and deadlines
  • Self-motivation and initiative in solving problems and improving work processes
  • Excellence in customer service
  • Strength as a team player
  • Ability to communicate information in a friendly and supportive manner
  • Calm and methodical temperament
  • Tertiary qualification in sales, marketing or business (not essential)


Minimum requirements

  • Matric
  • At least two year’s sales and customer service experience in a contact centre environment
  • Track record of success in meeting challenging targets in sales and customer service
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Professional and enthusiastic telephone manner
  • Good computer literacy – Windows, MS Office and Outlook
